WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM ALL ABOUT?

This is a robust and comprehensive teacher training that will teach you to safely and confidently create and teach hatha and vinyasa-style yoga classes. This program is the perfect platform for nourishing your love of yoga and setting a strong foundation for a professional yoga career.  This program is perfect for those looking to emerge into their passion, as well as those who wish to teach. This program was created in partnership with and an experienced instructional designer, this program is professionally crafted to put the student at the center and deliver maximum educational impact.

BESIDES ATTENDING TRAINING SESSIONS WHAT ARE THE OTHER REQUIREMENTS*?

To pass the course, you will be evaluated on:

Your final practicum

Your final written exam

Your studentship throughout the course

WHAT IF I NEED MORE HELP?

You will set up to meet with your teacher trainer to check-in, practice teach, and go over assignments as needed to be deemed by you or your teacher throughout the duration of the training for your success. 

WHERE WILL THIS PROGRAM BE HELD?

This program will be held at Tides Yoga Studio located at 36671 Phillips Street, location Kenai Alaska.

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I SET ASIDE FOR HOMEWORK?

There will be asana assignments and readings from your manual and additional required reading. These will be handed into your teacher/trainer for grading. Expect to spend 3-5 hours on homework weekly. 

WILL THERE BE A FINAL EVALUATION?

You will have quizzes and a final exam. Additionally, you will have teaching practicums. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY $2,200.00 TUITION INVESTMENT?

All of your classes are included for the duration of the training, (value: $360.00). Once payment in full is made, & two weeks prior to starting date, you will receive your All-Access Pass by email from admin explaining how to sign up for classes. Your 500 + page manual, ( value: $120.00), While during the training, props defined as bolsters, blocks, blankets, chairs, straps, eye pillows, yoga mats are available for your use at no additional cost. Any additional materials needed for this training will be covered by Tides if they are needed.

Upon graduation, a 50 % off alumni discount for any Tides Yoga Studio Membership. Possible employment + benefits. Receive a $200 credit to use towards any merch, clinics, membership, & or workshops with any referrals who attend our YTT training.

DO I HAVE TO PAY ALL AT ONCE?

We offer payment plans. A $500 non-refundable enrollment fee is expected upon acceptance to TYS School. The enrollment fee will be credited towards your overall tuition of $2,200.00. This serves as a downpayment towards your tuition and reserves your spot. You are not officially enrolled until we receive this payment. Payment plans are available with your final payment due two weeks prior to start date. 

WHAT IF I NEED TO MISS A SESSION?

Attendance at each and every session is mandatory, in person or online. We are able to schedule make-up sessions for missed materials at the additional fee of $105/ hour, In the event of an emergency, you will still be responsible for all the coursework presented.

WHAT IF I FALL? 

Darling, what if you fly? You do not have to be a yoga guru to join our school. However, you must be ready when the time comes for this type of emotional, physical, spiritual, financial, and let’s be honest, time-consuming commitment to “Dive Deep!“
